ANIMASAUN OLUSEGUN OLALEKAN (ACA, Mmp, JP) is a Chartered and qualified Accountant with Over 20 years’ experience as an accounting and finance expert with in-depth knowledge of accounting tools, procedures and transactions. He has a proven track record of providing transformative leadership to growing organizations and achieving exceptional results in driving revenue, reducing waste and decreasing avoidable expenses. An expert in setting financial targets and devising internal control standards and processes. Successful in advising business executives on financial strategies driving short term and long-term growth. Skilled in uncovering opportunities to improve financial growth, risk management and internal control while managing all accounting functions and minimizing risks.

He is a graduate of accounting from The Polytechnic Ibadan and also a Master’s Degree holder in Managerial Psychology from the University of Ibadan. He is also an alumnus of the prestigious Abeokuta Grammar School and also the American Training Institute.

He is also an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

He started his career with West African Batteries Limited as an Account’s supervisor working directly with the Chief Accountant. He later joined Ademola Brahimo and co. (Auditors and tax consultants) and was the Audit Team Lead for several audit jobs including the audit of Nigerian Environmental Study Team (NEST). Drafted audit reports which were regularly evaluated by international NGO’s like FORD Foundation and Friends Of The Earth (FOE) and which formed the basis on which NEST received international supports from many NGO’s over the years.

He later joined CADS Limited Port-Harcourt a software company as Senior Accounts Head, supporting the Managing Director in the design and implementation of a number of software amongst which was the CAD DNS software designed for inventory control of casings for Nigerian Breweries PLC and such similar companies.

He later worked with Colours Africa Limited and Tangerine by Colours Ltd. as the Management/Head Accountant and later on as the Financial Controller where he helped in formulating company policies and ensuring implementation, created systems for cost management, project planning, project management, control management, sourcing and management of funds, management of working capital, financial assessment and reporting, including other functions.

He is presently the Financial Controller of Vava Group of Companies, which includes Vava Furniture, Vava Projects and Globe Pharmaceuticals.

He has attended many professional certifications, trainings and seminars in Finance and investments, both locally and internationally.
